What is Havas Fellowship & Havas Forward?

Our Junior Fellowship provides a meaningful learning and development opportunity for university students (rising seniors), while also allowing us to tap into fresh talent, who will hopefully become the future talent of Havas Media.

The summer Junior Fellowship program runs for 10 weeks across our North American offices and a typical Junior Fellow class is around 10-15 students. Junior Fellows are rising Seniors who have one more year of undergrad. We also have Fellows (those who have already graduated) participate in the Summer.

As a part of the Junior Fellowship track, you�??ll have the unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and training �?? setting you up to unlock enormous potential within the first few years of your career. This track is a pathway that will give you the foundation needed for a full-time position at Havas Media Group after graduation.

In addition to department-led assignments, Junior Fellows also collaborate on a client-focused project throughout the summer. The program aims to bring value to our teams, as well as provide the Junior Fellows with valuable work experience and opportunities for learning.
Job Description :
JUNIOR FELLOW, AD OPERATIONS
The Ad Operations department works alongside our AdOps team to assist on the technical implementation of Havas Media digital campaigns to ensure consistent and accurate media & site tagging. Teams interact cross-functionally with various departments to understand all the components involved with a digital campaign from set up to reporting outcomes.

The Ad Operations Junior Fellow will work alongside our AdOps team to assist on the technical implementation of Havas Media digital campaigns to ensure consistent and accurate media & site tagging. The Junior Fellow will interact with cross-functional teams to understand all the components involved with a digital campaign from set up to reporting outcomes.

A DAY IN THE LIFE MIGHT LOOK LIKE:
  • Learn aspects of campaign management, QA (quality assurance), trafficking, and problem solving with hands on experience in any of the following:
  • Understand Ad Operations best practices and how to communicate with internal teams
  • Participate in media planning discussions regarding trafficking strategies and related operational issues
  • Improve data quality by collaborating with the Media, Analytics and other teams to ensure campaigns are structured in a way to produce optimal data outputs
  • QA creatives within specs and provide feedback as needed
  • Traffic and manage campaigns in Google Campaign Manager
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues with ads or tags
  • Resolve tracking and reporting discrepancies with Analytics and/or external parties (e.g. publishers/partners)
  • Review and contribute to documenting Ad Operations processes
  • Additional ad hoc projects
  • Get trained on tools, platforms and resources to assist with maintenance of active campaigns
  • Become well-informed about developments within the media industry as well as advertising verticals - through project work, internal meetings, and industry publications, gain substantial learning about the business

WHAT YOU�??LL NEED:
  • Enrolled in a college/university with a strong interest in Digital, Media & Advertising and/or Technology
  • Knowledge of HTML and/or JavaScript
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel; ability to learn other software and tools quickly

WHO YOU ARE:
  • Technical orientation: love of all things tech, including consumer websites, user interfaces, mobile, video, etc.
  • Team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, open environment
  • Proactive and full of initiative with the ability to multitask as needed
  • Methodical, well-organized, and detail-oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
